Youssef Eddini will start as managing partner and communications consultant at Van Luyken on 1 April 2019.
Together with the current managing partner Erik Visser, he will lead the 40-year-old Haarlem-based communications agency. Van Luyken is one of the top 5 agencies in the Netherlands in the communications agency category (source: Management Team).
At Van Luyken, Eddini utilises his extensive knowledge and experience for the benefit of existing and future clients. Over the past 25 years, he has held communication positions in the sectors of security (Rotterdam and Utrecht Police), aviation (KLM, Transavia), construction (Strukton), media (NOS, NPO, Ziggo) and finance (ABN AMRO). He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Taartrovers Film Festival, a board member of the Esther Vergeer Foundation, an examiner at NIMA, a guest lecturer and examiner at SRM and an intervision coach at Van der Hilst.
Youssef Eddini: “After a sabbatical of reflection, self-reflection and personal growth, I look forward to continuing the success of Van Luyken together with my new colleagues. I am happy to use my 25 years of in-house experience to help organisations achieve their goals more effectively with the help of communication. I also look forward to supporting communications departments in being of strategic significance to their organisations. My third focus point is coaching and training professionals to become leaders in their communications. And yes, everyone can learn from my blunders too.”
“The right man, at the right time, in the right place,” is how current managing partner Erik Visser characterises Eddini’s arrival at Van Luyken. “We’ve been looking for the best candidate for some time. Youssef brings with him a wealth of practical experience and has the leadership qualities that will further strengthen Van Luyken and take it into a new phase.”
