Menno Koel leaves Holland Lift

22 march 2013

Hoorn – Menno Koel, former director and majority shareholder of Holland Lift in Hoorn, will be leaving the company on 1 May 2013.

Mr Koel says the reason behind his move is to give the new owners free rein to take the company into a new phase.

On 1 January 2013, Rotterdam-based ProDelta Investment Partners took over ownership and became sole shareholder.

In his role of commercial director, Mr Koel was the face of Holland Lift for many customers over a 15-year period. He has now handed over all of his responsibilities to interim director, Thom Sijs. The new situation will have no impact on how the organization is run.

ProDelta Investment Partners sees a strong potential for growth in the organization thanks to increasing international demand for Holland Lift’s high quality products across a large number of countries.

Holland Lift was founded in 1984. The company is dedicated to the manufacture of scissor lifts up to a height of 34 meters. The lifts are produced in the factory in Hoorn in compliance with stringent quality standards. Holland Lift delivers to customers all over the world, with a large proportion of the machines being purchased by rental companies. Other customers include maintenance companies in the maritime and aviation sectors; installation, painting and cleaning companies; and distribution centers.
